Monks Walk Pub

The pub's passageway was once used to carry the victims of the plague through to the burial pit under what is now the railway station. People have said that they have sighted monks walking in the passageway, is it because related to this? Another common story is the feeling of cold air through the pub with a wind that opens the doors, this happens on a warm and often still night so what explanation is there for this? People often hear the noise of keys when nobody has them.
